About Us

Tara McDermott is a skilled Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS) with 14 years of expertise in the field. She has a passion for natural outcomes, learning and sharing education, and boosting providers’ and patients’ confidence. Tara has been in health care in some capacity since getting her 1st job providing home health care in 1999. After graduating from nursing school in 2008, she practiced in a wide variety of settings, including in-patient surgery, medical/surgical, mother-baby, and over 10 years in post-anesthesia recovery (PACU). Tara spent the last 15 years specializing in aesthetic injections and training with industry leaders such as Dr. Swift, Dr. Cotofana, PA Nicola Lowery, Laurie Robertson, Shelby Miller, Ina Prokopenka, and many others. She has been training providers over the northwest for the last several years and is also a national GAIN trainer for Galderma. Tara brings her holistic, patient-driven approach to her consult, patient transformations, and training. She explains everything in a straightforward manner that makes people feel supported without judgment.

Tara currently lives in Salem, Oregon. For the past six years, she has worked at Neaman Plastic Surgery and MediSpa, one of the nation’s top 100 practices. She has a wonderful husband and three children. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, going on hikes, traveling, eating good food, and spending time with friends and family.
